Well on this fine Saturday i was able to see Amazing grace with my mom and dad, go ice skating with the S.t Michael's youth, and thrift shop it was lovely. I found that about three years ago i was an extreme bargain shopper, and now i found a passion for low prices once again. I'm reminded of the saying, "one mans trash is another mans treasure" this is the constitution for thrift shopping. The feeling of recycling clothing is extraordinary. The prices are cheap and the finds are unique. I think one talent i have is the ability to shop well. Anyway, I'm really struggling Whit two of my friendships. It seem the same two people are companions one minute then control freaks the next. I haven't been helping the situation because sometimes i fight fire with fire and react just as they did. The snow was nice 2 hour delays are very comforting but we really can't afford anymore snow days or the younger students will miss my churches annual mission trip in Colorado. OOhh I'm very excited because i discovered i love a food that happens to be very healthy for me. Peas oh my goodness peas are so great. I love when their really warm and you bite into them and the mushy goodness fills the spaces between your teeth. This is a huge moment because rarely do i enjoy any food that's going to help me out in the long run. I hope all you lancer fans will be attending Mr. Linganore this Saturday its going to be quite a showdown. Sean and i had to practice swing dancing today and I'm pretty confident we were the best. If you haven't seen The Prestige i highly suggest watching it. That movie was phenomenal!!!!!

John Horn who rocked the house as the amazing Desmond.

Here is John who came dressed and tattooed as the serious doctor Jack.

The Lost Season Three Extravaganza!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We even had our own authentic darma food labels

Here is our palm tree candle light setting, which really helped achieve the island mood, complete with a handcuffed Jin played by Jake.

Yes i admit in the past i was one of those outsiders how saw and heard about the new television sensation LOST and thought it ridiculous, stupid, and more importantly confusing. But please all you current fans forgive me i have changed my ways. The fact that Lost is sooooooo confusing is part of it beauty and appeal. Over this past Christmas break i had enough free time to watch the previous two seasons and the couple of episodes of season 3 online, which by the way was extremely annoying because I'd get half way through an episode and the computer would freeze. But aside from my technological complications i was able to catch myself up in time to be so completely obsessed my friends and i had a party on February 7, 2007 that rocked the house. Above are photographs of the magical event. Everyone was required to come in costume and as you can see, some were more authentic than others but, collectively the night was a smashing success. Anywhooo did anyone catch this weeks episode because i was so confused...

So poor Desmond has to keep saving Charley as many times as he can until the universe course corrects itself????????? WHHAAA???

I fell in Love with Donna all over again

Yes i went and i saw. On February 4,2007 i indeed saw Wicked with my all time favorite adult Donna Mercer. Seeing it again made me enjoy it even more i new all the words to every song and the entire day was filled with excitement laughter. I actually had a really rough morning that turned into the coolest day ever. I went to church then lady and i rolled hard to B-more. We took a detour and scoped out UMBC. We then went into a colorful Mexican restaurant were everyone taking our order spoke hardcore jive i unfortunately could not interpret their lingo but fortunately Miss i grew up in the ghetto new just what they were trying to get across. We had a wonderful heart-to-heart while eating an all cheese quesadilla and a burrito salad. Then we strolled over to the Theatre were we waited in our matching outfits 3 hours before the show. We were the first in line we filled out a slip of paper with some personal information and we were officially in the ballet. Then we strolled around trying to find a place were we could keep warm for 30 minutes, when we found ourselves face to face with the young woman who played Elphiba (the star) we then took a picture and complimented her on the performance which we had not even seen yet. It was clearly fate that the two of us would later find ourselves winner at the Mercy of an annoying hefty man randomly drawing tickets. We were the third name called. We were so excited we started screaming and hugging strangers. After we regained composer we waited in a Starbucks across the street until it was show time. We took our seats and enjoyed the creative and detailed untold story of the witches of Oz. The only complicating we ran into was when Lady's skirt had a serious static cling malfunction. Don't worry she was able to walk out of the theatre shameless. So all together this roller coaster day was one of the best days of my life.

Wicked.. I think Yes

Once in the year 2004 i saw the Broadway performance of the Musical Wicked. It was my very first viewing of a Broadway production and i loved it. I have seen shows such as Rent, 12 Angry men, none were as thrilling or moving as Wicked. The cleverly written untold story of the witches of Oz was breath taking. The original star Idina Menzel signed my playbill making the experience even more worth while. Considering i have recently turned 18 my father had the idea to take me to see wicked in Baltimore. That idea was lost because of financial issues until...

The amazing Donna Mercer discovered that on Sundays the Baltimore theatre has a drawling for two tickets for the affordable price of $25. Therefore, tomorrow I'm trying to once again watch the show i love. We're going to church then heading to Baltimore. Here are three reasons why we may win such tickets.
1. The Superbowl also takes place tomorrow allowing less people to be attending.
2. We are going several hours early giving us more opportunities to have our names drawn.
3. we're going to try and win as many times as possible, so if we don't go this weekend the chances of us going another are rather high.
